The Delaware Project is a national clinical psychological science vision sponsored by NIMH and co-developed and lead by Dr. Ryan Beveridge. The Project aims to redefine graduate training by emphasizing continuity across a spectrum of intervention science research activities. These activities include (a) basic mechanisms of psychopathology and behavior change, (b) intervention generation and refinement, (c) intervention efficacy and effectiveness, and (d) community implementation and dissemination. The primary focus of the Project is to emphasize the inclusion of training opportunities in the community that can simultaneously feedback into treatment research performed in the laboratory and impact our communities with evidence-based practices.
C-TECC is local instantiation of the Delaware Project vision, and plays a pivotal role in the unique training of faculty, post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduate students at the University of Delaware.
